Learning Programs

“YOU SHOULD FUNCTION MORE AS A SCENE-SETTER WHO PROVIDES A LOVING ATMOSPHERE FULL OF LEARNING EXPERIENCES YOUR CHILD CAN CHOOSE FOR HIMSELF, AND AS A COACH WHO CHEERS HIM ON AND SHARES THE EXHILARATION OF HIS ACCOMPLISHMENTS.”

At least 50 per cent of our ability to learn is developed in the first five years of life. About 30 per cent or more is developed before the age of eight. Your child is born with more than enough brain cells to be highly successful in life. It’s not the number of brain cells that determines usable intelligence. It’s the number of connections that are made between those cells. These connections are formed through the rich, stimulating environment you create in the early years.

We are not saying that anyone absorbs 50 per cent of life’s knowledge or wisdom in the first five years. What we mean is that, in the first five years, your child forms 50 per cent of the main learning pathways in his brain. Everything else he learns in life will be built on that base. So, making lots of brain connections gives your child an invaluable advantage. And these connections can be developed through Little Feet’s learning program.

What is Little Feet’s Learning Program based on ?

At Little Feet, the EYFS curriculum is implemented in synchronization of Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple intelligence that enables educators to cater to all kind of learners present in a learning environment, by closely matching what they provide to a child’s current needs. This way of teaching is particularly appropriate to support learning in early year’s settings.
